NGC3184

NGC 3184 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major, about 40 million light years from Earth. Discovered by William Herschel in 1789, it has a diameter of around 60,000 light years and belongs to the Ursa Major galaxy group. The galaxy shows well-defined spiral arms, active star formation and a bright core surrounded by young stars. Dark dust structures within the arms add to its fascinating dynamics.
