Processing 2026:
This year too I couldn’t resist photographing the beautiful Orion Nebula. Last year with an apo, this year with a Newtonian.
The Orion Nebula (M42) is a glowing emission nebula in the constellation Orion, about 1,350 light years from Earth. It contains young, massive stars still forming and shows vivid colours from the excitation of its elements. At its centre lies the “Trapezium”, a group of four bright stars, part of a star-forming region. Visible to the naked eye, the Orion Nebula offers insights into the birth of stars.
