After a very long wait, finally FIRST LIGHT with my ZWO ASI2600mm!
M51, also known as the Whirlpool Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici, about 25 million light years from Earth. It is known for its unique spiral structure and its interaction with the smaller companion galaxy NGC 5195.
